Volumetric shut-off valves allow a set amount of water to flow before automatically closing the valve. Perfect for filling large storage tanks, sprayer tanks, flushing or other applications where a specific amount of water needs to flow before stopping. Must be manually reset after each run.
The 250 gallon model is adjustable by 5 gallon increments, the 500 gallon model is adjustable by 10 gallon increments.
NOTE: There must be available flow through the valve and system to check and adjust valve. Insure that a downstream demand is created by opening field valves, sprinklers, etc. Please verify that the unit is installed according to the flow direction. (large arrow on the top body)
1. Close main valve by fully turning setting knob on top of the valve counter-clockwise until dial face is on zero exactly in front of the small body arrow pointing at the dial and clicks.
