Correct orientation of the prop should have the set bolt facing the intake (motor) side of the fan. Use Key from hardware bag number 5 on prop end of shaft. Apply Loctite 290 to prop set bolt and secure to 150 inch lbs. Optional bearing shims are provided in hardware bag as well.. If needed these can be installed under the bearings to raise the height of the shaft. By design these are not needed but are provided in the rare case the height of the shaft needs to be adjusted. To install bearings shims simply loosen bearing hardware and slide bearing shims under the bearings and re tighten bearing hardware. Additionally if prop is off center horizontally bearing hardware should be loosened, prop centered, then hardware re tightened. 6. Rotate motor plate to align holes and install carriage bolts, nuts, and washers from hardware bag number 4.
