Example: Item lodged in fan not allowing impeller to rotate, the drive will trip and must be manually reset once obstruction is removed. Output Overcurrent: Motor performance is reduced until the current returns to normal operating parameters. If the motor is unable to reach normal operating current by reducing performance the drive will trip. Example: Opposing wind gust cause the amp draw to spike, the drive will reduce speed until the current returns to an acceptable level, once wind reduces drive returns to normal operation. Over Temperature: The drive trips until power module temperature returns to normal operating parameters and then will restart automatically. Example: Motor overheats and drive trips, once motor cools to acceptable level the drive automatically restarts.
