Newton Grove, NC USA September 2018 2 Feeding Systems General Information The 15 Degree Adaptor is intended to be used between the Transfer Plate and Unloader where the 30 degree Upper Boot provides too steep of an angle for feed transfer. It is primarily used with rigid auger systems but can be installed in flexible auger applications where needed. IMPORTANT: Failure to follow these instructions may cause breakage of Upper boot. 1. Attach the Adaptor to unloader with the Truss Head Screws and Nuts provided. Screws should be assembled from bottom up with nuts on top to prevent screws from interfering with unloader access door. Note directional Arrow on Adapter and make sure it is pointed up. Note: It may be necessary to enlarge holes in either the Upper Boot or Transfer Plate to ensure proper alignment between the two; especially between different OEM manufacturers. 2. Provided closed cell foam Tape should be assembled to front and back of unloader as required ensuring a water tight seal. 3. Assemble Unloader/Adaptor assembly to Transfer Plate Assembly, again with provided Truss Head Screws and Nuts. Screws should be assembled from top with nuts on bottom.
