Slight movement of the potentiometer gear may be required to help it engage in the drive screw. 18. It is likely the limit switch slide block moved during installation. The unit at this point should have the load block all the way to the end of the machine nearest the cable/chain exit. With the limit switch set screw loose, slide the limit slide block toward the end of the machine (cable/chain exit) until two clicks are heard. This sets the limit switch back to the original position when the machine was first stopped in step 4. 19. While making sure the POTKIT assembly stays in place, tighten set-screw in limit switch assembly firmly. 20. Route wire from the POTKIT assembly away from moving parts. Secure wire as needed to ensure wire does not move over time into moving parts. 21. Re-connect power to the curtain machine and move load block back to the original location. 22. Move lock collars back to original locations. If bottom lock collar was at the end of the limit rod travel originally, It can be moved to just above the top of the POTKIT which is now the new bottom limit location. It will be necessary to move the top lock collar up 3” to account for the bottom limit being moved up 3”. 23. Refer to recorded value of spacing between the two lock collars from step 2. Move the upper lock collar to set the correct distance between collars. 24. Place machine in Manual mode and run machine in “CLOSE” operation until it stops. Take up slack in cables with manual winch. 25. Operate machine in “OPEN” operation until desired open location is achieved. Confirm lock collar is in desired location.
