Insert the HS809U proximity switch into the HS10-2 mount until the sensor extends into the hopper approximately ½” minimum. Set the time delay to approximately 30 seconds as a starting point. The delay affects the restarting of the fill auger motors once the feed has dropped in the hopper below the proximity switch. The longer the delay, the lower the feed will drop in the hopper. Lower Proximity Switch – The lower switch will control the feed line auger. Insert the HS809L proximity switch into the HS10-2 mount until the sensor extends into the hopper approximately ½” minimum. Set the time delay to approximately 30 seconds as a starting point. The delay affects the restarting of the feed line auger motors once the feed has filled the hopper above the proximity switch. The longer the delay, the higher the feed will raise in the hopper. Adjust the timer by selecting the dip switches to total up the desired time delay. The time delay will equal the total of switches that are in the “ON” position. Factory setting is 30 seconds. Example shows total time of (4+8+32+256) = 300 seconds
