Hog Slat Inc. Newton Grove, NC USA March 2022 7 Evaporative Cooling System Top Assembly Instructions START FROM THE TANK END OF THE SYSTEM FOR THE FOLLOWING STEPS 1. Referencing Figure 2, mark location of top of pad support and bottom brackets with chalk lines. Verify with level. 2. Using supplied #10 X 1.5” Hex head mounting screws, secure top pad support along chalk line. Repeat for the length of the rough opening. It may be necessary to cut the final top pad support to fit nonstandard rough opening lengths. If necessary, drill a second mounting hole to ensure a minimum of 2 fasteners on a modified part. 3. Using supplied #10 X 1.5” Hex head mounting screws secure spray bar supports on 60” centers. Place the first spray bar support at flush with the top pad support at the tank end of the system. The bottom of the spray bar support brackets should sit directly on the top of the top pad retainer. Repeat for the length of the system. A Final bracket should be installed flush with the top pad support at the capped end of the system.
