Clock operation The clock has a slide switch in the lower left corner. Set clock to the center position or clock dial symbol in order for the clock to operate the pit scraper system in automatic mode. There is no need to change this location unless troubleshooting the system is required and changing the state of the clock from ON to OFF is required. “0” position will turn the output OFF and switch times are deactivated. “1” position will turn the output ON and switch times are deactivated. Program “ON” and “OFF” Events During the programming of the 24HR timer, an “ON” event will equal the time the scraper cycle is to start. An “ON” event can be programmed in a minimum of 15 minute increments by pulling inward the programming tabs or switching segments. The time it takes to travel the length of the building plus the pre-soak delay must be added together to determine if one or two tabs are required. The scraper travels at a rate of 25FT / MIN [7.6M /MIN] therefore a 200’ building will require at least 8 minutes. If a pre-soak delay is 10 minutes, then it will require 18 minutes total. Since the time to travel and pre-soak delay is greater than 15 minutes, two tabs are required.
