Length of barn / 25ft per min = number of travel minutes required. Number of travel minutes + pre-soak delay = total time to run scraper system to send blade to opposite wall. Total time/15 rounded to next whole number = number of 24hr tabs to activate. Example: 300 ft long barn. Desired pre-soak delay = 10 minutes. 300/25 = 12 minutes plus 10 minutes pre-soak time = 22 minutes. 22/15 = 1.47 round up to 2. 2 timer tabs are required. To return the blade back to the HOME wall, the 24 HR timer will advance off the activating tabs. This will re-start pre-soak delay and return blade back to the HOME. Based on the above calculation there must be at least 2 off tabs. Most all cases the number of OFF tabs will be many times greater than ON tabs as the time between desired cycles is typically hours apart. Set scraper cycle times: 1. To set the beginning of a cycle, pull inward the number of tabs per calculation above that corresponds with the time of day the cycle is to start. 2. Set “OFF” time by making sure the next tab in sequence is “Down or Outward”. 3. Any rest period between cycles will be represented by the tabs being “Down or Outward”. 4.
