This allows the ventilation controller to communicate information to the PC interface such as set point, temperatures and alarms. Also allows the PC interface to control the set point, alarm reset and cleaning modes. When the PC Interface performs an initial search of controllers connected, it will assign each ventilation controller a unique number (see below figure showing the location of the Controller ID#). The set point and room temperature is communicated from the ventilation controller to the PC Interface. The PC Interface can also change the set point of the ventilation controller. When the PC Interface places the ventilation controller in “Cleaning Mode” the ventilation controller will follow the cleaning mode set point established by the PC Interface, switch to minimum ventilation and an ICON will pop up on the IDLE and HOME screens indicating the controller is in Cleaning Mode. Once controller is taken out of “Cleaning Mode” the set point will have to be changed from the Cleaning Mode set point as required at the ventilation controller or the PC interface .
