HEAT: Heater(s) are assigned to either Stage 5 or 6 or both. If one heater is used, then it is assigned to Stage 6. If two heaters are being used then Heater 1 is assigned to Stage 5 and Heater 2 is assigned to Stage 6. Two types of heating can be selected. Either Cascading or Zones. 18A. SELECT HEAT STAGE(S): Press the icon for the number of heaters to be used (Icon will turn green). If one heater is to be used, press the “1 Heater” icon. If two heaters are to be used, press “1 Heater” and “2 Heaters” icons. To deselect a heater choice, press the icon again and it will turn gray indicating it has been unselected. 18B. SELECT HEAT TYPE (ZONES): Press the icon for the heater arrangement. For ZONES press the “ZONES” icon which will turn green. Zone heating is when heaters are placed in different areas or rooms. Each heater operates independently and is controlled based on the Differential and Offset temperatures to control when they turn on and off as compared to the set point temperature. Probes 1 and 2 are assigned to Heater 1 and probes 3 and 4 are assigned to Heater 2. Probes can be turned off or not connected individually however if two heaters are used in zones mode, then a minimum of 2 probes are required, one for each zone. When two probes are used (one in each zone) probe 1 = Heater 1 and probe 3 = Heater 2. If two probes are used for each heating zone, the average temperature between the two probes is used. Probe 1 and Probe 2 = Heater 1. Probe 3 and Probe 4 = Heater 2. NOTE: In order to select ZONES heating, two heaters must be selected first and at least two probes connected, one for each zone. 18A 18B 18C 18D
