Hog Slat Inc. Newton Grove, NC USA DECEMBER 2025 REV IR 2 GROW-FLEX™ Feed Systems 1. OVERVIEW / FEATURES: The HS864 Infrared Feed Switch is used to control feed line auger drive motors by detecting the presence of feed. The HS864 is typically mounted beneath an auger control unit at the end of the feed line. When feed has filled the last feed drop, feeder etc… feed will rise into the HS864 body where the feed is detected by a series of infrared sensors. The HS864 has the necessary built-in features to run the feed system automatically with different colored LEDs to let user know operating conditions. The infrared sensors can detect all types of feed and is not impacted by moisture unlike proximity sensors. Built in relay allows direct connection to the auger motor. FEATURES: ❖ Infrared sensing technology. ❖ LEDs to indicate status. ❖ Maximum Run time monitoring. ❖ Feed delay option. ❖ Relay output for auger. 2.
