Layer Application Recommendations: Use (1) 5k lb. winch at 1:1 ration for each trough side up to 300 ft. systems. Use (2) 5k lb. winch at 1:1 ration for each trough side up to 600 ft. systems. Support Chain required when perch pipe is used. Weight of system to rest on support chains, not the winching cable. Cable Recommend using 3/16” stainless steel or galvanized cable up to 500 ft systems. Cable drops and hangers must be placed at every trough coupler.
