Grower SELECT® PVC Feed Tube 10' Length

Grower SELECT® PVC feed tube pipe for flexible auger systems. A special formulation of blended PVC provides a durable feed tube that is wear resistant and UV stablized. Pre-formed bell ends eliminate the need for extra pipe couplers.

 
Adequate support must be provided to prevent the tubes from sagging and support the weight of the Control Unit. The auger, tubes, and feed weigh approximately 6 lbs/ft. (9 kg/m). The Control Unit weighs approximately 80 lbs (36 kg.). Line lengths specified allow for two 45 degree elbows in the elevation. Reduce line length by 30’ (9 m) for each additional horizontal 90-degree elbow. For Tandem Systems, raise the horsepower one size over recommendations in the table below or reduce line length by 50’ (15.4 m). Note: If the voltage supplied is 208 V, reduce the line lengths by 20%. Horsepower requirements are based on the length of the GROW-FLEX Auger System and the type of system installed (number of turns, tandem systems, etc). The charts included show maximum line lengths for GROW-FLEX Auger Systems plus maximum lengths for systems using Extension Hoppers.
