Hen Slat plastic poultry flooring is stronger, heavier-duty and features more open area to reduce manure build-up and maintain cleaner floors around nests and feeders. Manufactured of prime "virgin" polypropylene material. Available in white or black. Secure to frame support runners using #10 x 2-1/2" flat head screws. Stronger, Heavier Panels
Each 2' x 4' panel weighs 6.7 pounds, over 3/4 of a pound more than competitive brands. 21 longitudinal ribs compared to others with only 17 ribs provides a level slat surface with only three support runners. Hen Slats have been tested and approved for a 250 pound static load at center of slat between runners. (Installed on 2" x 6" runners)
Interlocking Tabs
Multiple interlocking edge tabs reduce flexing to promote a flat, stable walking surface. Arch latitudinal ribs furnish greater support to the longitudinal ribs.
