Hog Slat's Fall Arrest System (FAS) is designed to provide protection for anyone climbing feed bin ladders on your farm. The major benefit of the Hog Slat FAS is that it provides a single, continuous connection from the ground level to the top of the bin's peak collar. Users are able to transition from the vertical ladder to the roof ladder section without un-hooking from the FAS cable.
Our system was designed to be compliant with OSHA 1910 updated regulations that went into effect on November 19, 2018, specifically related to fixed ladder systems extending more than 24 feet above a lower level. We offer complete kits designed to be mounted on Hog Slat, Automated Production (AP®) and Chore-Time® bulk feed bin tanks.
