Fall Arrest System for AP® Feed Bins

Complete Fall Arrest System designed to be installed on Automated Production (AP) brand feed bins with 20" peak rings. Cable attachment sleeve (GST-LS8045) and full-body harness (GST-LS8046) sold separately.

The major benefit of the Hog Slat FAS is that it provides a single, continuous connection from the ground level to the top of the bin's peak collar. Users are able to transition from the vertical ladder to the roof ladder section without un-hooking from the FAS cable.

Each FAS kit includes a peak ring mounting bracket, 3/8" stainless steel cable and all required ladder mounting/tensioning hardware.

The Hog Slat Fall Arrest System (FAS) is designed in compliance with the following OSHA General Industry Standards:
1910.28 - Duty to have fall protection and falling object protection
1910.29 - Fall protection systems and falling object protection - criteria and practices
1910.140 - Personal fall protection systems
Effective November 19, 2018; OSHA standards require specific measures of protection for any fixed ladder extending more than 24-feet above a lower level.
